Will a Canon OC-E3 Off Camera Shoe Cord work on a Rebel XSi?
I own a Canon Rebel XSi and a Canon 580 EX II flash but am looking for an off camera shoe cord. I can't afford Pocketwizards at the moment, so I was wondering if the OC-E3 will work on my camera?
Rather than go wired, why not use wireless radio triggers. Pocket Wizards are not the only things on the market. I use Yongnuo RF602 triggers and they are very reliable with a great range. Cost around £25 for a set.
Ok you won't have TTL control of flash, just manual, but it's better to learn how to light manually than rely on anything 'auto'.
